Expertise acquired over the past 20 years due to the participation of the Aboriginal community as a partner in three hydroelectric projects. This is how the Minashtuk 10 MW small hydroelectric station was built over the water and began activities in 1999. And it is as partner within the Société de l’Énergie Communautaire du Lac-Saint-Jean that the two 16 MW small hydroelectric station projects were established on the water's edge of the Ouiatchouan River to Val-Jalbert and the Mistassini River, in the sector of the 11th falls. The project of Val-Jalbert was also the first in Quebec to take into account the 16 principles of sustainable development in its impact study on the environment.
