Our team

Pek has reunited a team of qualified individuals with many years of combined experience in development, construction and exploitation in the field of renewable energy projects. These are highly-skill workers specializing in areas such as finance, engineering, construction, health and safety, communications and management.
 

Marc Morin, M.Sc. Eng.

Senior engineering graduate from Université Laval, Mr. Morin has more than 20 years of experience in energy development, production and operation in the private and community sectors.  He has extensive experience in the development, engineering and construction domains including experience in hydroelectric project operations in Canada and abroad. His ties with Pekuakamiulnuatsh Takuhikan goes back to the time of the Minashtuk project development in 1998, for which he was project manager for the contractor during construction.  He participated in the preparation and the support of the development activities for the small station hydroelectric projects of Val-Jalbert and the 11th falls of the Mistassini River since 2009. His experience in engineering and development has contributed to the effective development of the projects. His detailed knowledge of the construction and his experience of granting and managing construction contracts relating to the hydroelectric project management field have been put to good use since the beginning of 2013 to oversee the construction phase at Val -Jalbert.  Meanwhile, Mr. Morin continues to work with Pekuakamiulnuatsh Takuhikan who entrusted the management and development of its energy sector to him as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Groupe Pek Limited Partnership.
 

Luc Tardif, Eng.

Mr. Tardif is an engineer with over 22 years of experience in industrial projects as a project engineer, construction coordinator and contract administration supervisor.  Notably, he was site foreman of the Val-Jalbert project, where he was responsible for various contracts, work management and expenditure control. He also participated in the preparatory phase for the construction stage, notably in the preparation of calls for quotes and the negotiation of construction contracts.
 

Stéphane Guay, Eng.

Graduate of the Université Laval in applied sciences, Mr. Guay also holds a certificate in human resources management and administration.  He is responsible for the operations of the Minashtuk hydroelectric power station.  He has also worked under the title as manager for public works with Pekuakamiulnuatsh Takuhikan.  His experience thus confers specific expertise in regard to the work of recognition and operation of power generation facilities.
 

Andréann Lavoie

Andréann completed a BA in Accounting at the University of Quebec in Chicoutimi and a postgraduate degree in Accounting Sciences. Fresh out of her studies, she made a brief replacement at University Integrated Center for Health and Social Services before being hired, in 2016, as head of accounting for Development Pek. Andréann is conscientious, she has at heart the smooth running of the organization.

Jonathan Launière, Eng.

Mr. Launière is an engineer in geology with a geotechnical specialization.  His path has brought him to contribute to several projects in construction and geology.  His professional experience includes the production of many large-scale infrastructure projects such as roads, tunnels, aqueducts and sewer systems.  He also has experience on the hydroelectric project work sites of the Péribonka IV (405 MW) and Val-Jalbert (more than 16 MW) in Quebec.  His experience in Val-Jalbert has also permitted him to contribute in different ways to the construction phase of the project, particularly in terms of management, administration and site monitoring.
 

Judith Camier

Mrs Camier is a graduate of the MA in Regional Studies and Interventions, at the University of Québec in Chicoutimi and of a BA in International Studies and Modern Languages, from Laval University. She has over 10 years of experience coordinating various social projects and organizations. She has worked as a community organizer and human resources coordinator. She is Assistant Executive Officer for Pek Development.
